  I had to go inside and pre-pay (their pump wouldn't take my zip code; one of the buttons didn't work). Normally if I have to pre-pay with my credit card, I'll just tell the clerk to put a $30 or $40 limit on, fill it up, and they'll charge me for the amount I bought. So I put $40 on and then got $25 worth of gas. Well, they apparently hoped that I wouldn't check my bill because they charged me for $40. Now I have to go through the process of disputing the charge on my credit card bill to get back my change, which is SUPPOSED to be the convenience of using a credit card at the pump - you don't have to go back inside the store to get change like you would if you pre-paid with cash.
